During COVID-19, I worked with the JCC to create a way for the community we serve to hear familiar and beloved voices and learn what other organizations in town were doing in response to the virus. Through this project, I hoped to help listeners feel connected to one another by highlighting personal stories of resilience and by offering a space for participants to share their experiences. As the Communications and Development Specialist at Homeward Bound of WNC, I wrote, recorded, and edited the podcast, "Dwelling," an educational series in which staff, volunteers, community partners, and individuals experiencing homelessness in our community discuss current events affecting homelessness, homelessness solutions, and more.
